Abstract:Single factor test of Nielsen gravity separation(GS) and flotation test of GS tailings were conducted to beneficiate a tellurium-bearing gold ore from Henan Province. The GS concentrate was obtained under the optimized conditions including a grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 60%, feed concentration of 25%, a relative centrifugal force of 50g and a feed speed of 900 g/min. Then, the GS tailings at a grinding size of -0.074 mm 70% was treated with a flotation process consisting of one stage of roughing and one stage of scavenging, with 120 g/t isoamyl xanthate as the collector and a pulp pH value at 8. The combined concentrate from GS and flotation assayed 32.88 g/t Au, 39.94 g/t Ag and 94.35 g/t Te with recoveries of 89.97% Au, 86.48% Ag and 81.29% Te. It is shown that this approach can efficiently reclaim gold, silver and tellurium resources.
