Study on Enrichment of Mixed Bacteria and Its Bioleaching of Low-grade Tellurium Ore

Abstract:The mixed bacterial was obtained by enrichment from acid water and soil of asbestos mining area in Sichuan province and was domesticated. Primary studies on the influence factors of tellurium during leaching low-grade tellurium ore by mixed bacteria in shake flask tests were carried out. The results showed that when the temperature was 30 ℃ the leaching effect of mixed bacteria was the best, and the leaching rate reached 66.2% after leaching for 15 days with the pulp concentration of 1%. When the initial pH value was 1.5~2.0, the leaching rate of tellurium ore was high by the mixed bacterial. When the pH value was 1.5, the leaching rate was the highest and reached 67.8%. The leaching effect of tellurium ore was good by the mixed bacteria with a lower pulp concentration(1%~2%), the leaching rate can reach 66.6% after leaching for 15 days. The verification experiments showed that the leaching rate of tellurium can reach 75.8% after leaching for 15 days at a temperature of 30 ℃, with an initial pH value of 1.5, pulp concentration of 2%.
