Abstract:The high-temperature oxygen pressure leaching process was adopted with the nickel sulfide concentrate graded on average 5.708% from Shannxi Province as raw material, to prepare crude nickel hydroxide. The effects of factors, including leaching time, oxygen partial pressure, the amount of lignin, leaching temperature, solid to liquid ratio and dosage of sulfuric acid on the leaching rate of nickel were investigated. The results show that the average leaching rate of nickel can reach 96.32% under the following optimum conditions, including nickel sulfide ore leached at a temperature of 150 ℃ for 8 h, with the oxygen partial pressure at 1.6 MPa, sodium lignosulphonate dosage at 3% of the mass of nickel sulfide concentrate, liquid/solid ratio at 2∶1, and acidity of 100 g/L.
