Zeng Weiyong, male, born in Shaoyang of Hunan Province, was graduated from Central South University with a Master’s degree and is a professional senior engineer. Over the past 30 years, he has dedicated himself to scientific editing and technical writing, and presided over a number of key provincial and ministerial-level projects for development of academical journals, and also published many academic papers in top-ranking domestic journals. He currently serves as member of the Publications Committee of the Chinese Society for Metals, member of the Working Committee on Publication of the Nonferrous Metals Society of China, standing director of the Hunan Periodicals Association, and vice chairman of the Hunan Society of Scientific and Technical Journal Editors among others.
He has brought influence to the academical periodical publishing and also demonstrated strong capabilities in industry resource integration and social activity organization. Due to his professional accomplishment, he has successively been awarded the titles of "Excellent Periodical Worker of Hunan Province" and "Excellent Periodical Worker of the Chinese Society for Metals", and also won honors including the "Top Ten Outstanding Editors" of Hunan Province and the "Excellent Publisher and Editor-in-Chief" of Hunan Province.
